What kind of software do you build?
I build production web applications, AWS serverless systems, developer tools, and AI-enabled workflows using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and cloud-native services. Typical work includes multi-tenant SaaS, API platforms, data pipelines, and client-side tooling that keeps sensitive processing in the browser.
Where do you work?
I am based in Louisville, Kentucky and work remotely with product, engineering, and leadership teams across the United States. Engagements can be project-based, assessment-focused, or ongoing advisory retainers.
How can we work together?
I support scoped builds, architecture reviews, technical due diligence, platform modernization, AI integration, and ongoing engineering advisory work. Scope, milestones, and decision points are agreed before delivery begins.
What makes notschmee different from a typical portfolio site?
Beyond consulting pages, notschmee hosts free browser widgets for encoding, hashing, regex, cron, data conversion, image optimization, QR codes, and more. The site itself demonstrates production-minded frontend engineering, SEO structure, and client-side tooling patterns.
Do the browser widgets send data to a server?
Most widgets process text, files, and images entirely in your browser. Where a tool needs an external API (for example, fetching a public repository), that dependency is called out in the widget itself. Consulting inquiries use the contact form and are delivered privately.
What technologies define the practice?
Day-to-day work centers on TypeScript, React, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, and related services), infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and applied AI patterns such as RAG pipelines, provider abstraction, and in-browser inference.
